Home Health Aide

Vinculum Care Port Huron, MI

Vinculum Care, a locally owned home health agency serving the Port Huron area since 2019, is seeking compassionate, dependable, and reliable Home Health Aides to join our growing team.


Paid Training Available

We are committed to helping individuals start or advance their caregiving careers by providing training opportunities for qualified candidates.


Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening.
  • Must possess a valid GED or High School Diploma.
  • Must be able to work independently and follow care plans and instructions.
  • Reliable transportation is preferred.


Position Overview

This is an on-site position providing care and support to clients in their homes throughout the Port Huron area. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in client condition
  • Following individualized care plans
  • Maintaining professional communication with clients, families, and care teams


Required Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassion, empathy, and patience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Commitment to providing quality client care


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Home Health Aide, Caregiver, or Direct Care Worker experience
  • Home Health Aide Certification (not required; training is available)
