Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients, taking into account their unique backgrounds and therapeutic needs.
• Provide consistent therapy sessions via telehealth, utilizing techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities to support clients effectively.
• Maintain meticulous and timely records, including clinical documentation and progress notes, in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—psychologists, social workers, and psychiatric staff—to ensure comprehensive treatment and effective continuity of care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support, managing immediate needs and formulating strategies for ongoing care of clients experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties.
• Engage with families and support systems, coordinating treatment plans and guiding them on effective ways to support the client’s wellbeing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include a diverse range of individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds, all seeking professional assistance for mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your role will be to provide tailored therapeutic support to adults, adolescents, and families within a community health framework, all via virtual platforms.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Active state licensure as either a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in an outpatient or community health setting, demonstrating your ability to engage successfully with clients.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client caseloads effectively.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, as well as standard office software (MS Office, etc.) for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations and implementing culturally competent practices.
• Familiarity with telehealth services and the tools associated with virtual therapy delivery.
• Background in crisis management or emergency intervention within a mental health context.

Compensation and Benefits
