Position Overview

Vestibule Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Woodbridge, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Vestibule Physical Therapy, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique conditions and goals.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and using state-of-the-art techniques to facilitate patient recovery.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimally manage patient care, ensuring a unified approach to rehabilitation.
• Educating patients and their caregivers about their conditions, recovery processes, and ways to enhance therapeutic effects through home exercises.
• Tracking patient progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary, meeting the minimum utilization goals set forth by our practice.
• Maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders, including patients, families, and referring physicians.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient focus will encompass a variety of populations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine clients. You will have the opportunity to treat individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, developmental disorders, and chronic conditions. Your role will be vital in helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and enhance their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role at Vestibule Physical Therapy, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a relevant setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills.

Preferred Experience
