Job description

Vertiv is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The IT Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and supervision of technology projects. They serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure that solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and within the scope of the project. Key responsibilities include the following: defining the project's scope, managing resources (budget, people, and technology), monitoring progress, mitigating risks, assuring quality, and communicating with stakeholders. They frequently employ methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, assign tasks, and lead project teams.

Responsibilities: 

  • Be responsible for driving complex engagements across the globe.
  • Lead and deliver engagement focused on transformation and Agile work methodologies.
  • Drive a customer centric mindset culture with digital exploiting potential opportunities through an innovative journey, from ideation to commercialization.
  • Lead projects through the full lifecycle, working along with cross functional delivery teams.
  • Be a competency leader in driving the development and implementation of program management capabilities across the practice
  • Provide mentorship to a team of high performing consultants and actively participate in organization building initiatives

Requirements: 

  • Experience in agile methodologies, have led as Project Manager, Product Owner and Scrum Master roles within SAFe projects and helped build Agile Ways of working transformation programs for client IT organizations. 
  • Proven ability to lead teams and be committed to mentor junior team members
  • Should be able to collaborate and work across teams, vendor, stakeholders etc.
  • At least one recognized project management certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Power-point, Excel and Tools like Jira.
     

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Experience: 8-15years, with at least 6+ years of leading large programs working with top-tier consulting firms post MBA preferably in Project Management/Program
  • Experience of working on high value projects which involve high level of interaction with CxOs and Top management executives.
  • Expertise in developing and managing comprehensive Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and RiskBreakdown Structures (RBS) to ensure project clarity, task division, and risk identification.
