VersiCare Group is seeking a motivated Recruiter to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a key part in identifying, attracting, hiring, and onboarding qualified staff who support the individuals and communities we serve.

What You'll Do
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard qualified candidates to meet staffing needs
  • Develop creative recruiting strategies using job boards, social media, networking, schools, professional organizations, and recruiting events
  • Verify employment requirements, credentials, certifications, and licensure as applicable
  • Match employees to opportunities based on qualifications, availability, and organizational needs
  • Coordinate staffing assignments and support a smooth onboarding experience
  • Build strong relationships with candidates, employees, consumers, families, referral sources, Community Mental Health agencies, and community partners
  • Maintain regular communication regarding staffing, scheduling, and service delivery needs
  • Monitor compliance with required training, certifications, licenses, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, county, and company policies and procedures

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Recruiting, staffing, healthcare, human resources, or customer service experience preferred

Requirements:


Education & Experience

  • One-year certificate from a college or technical school; OR
  • Two years of related business, recruiting, staffing, customer service, or human resources experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, think critically, and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Working knowledge of employment practices and applicable federal and state employment laws.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, plan ahead, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient with computers, smartphones, Microsoft Office, and multiple software platforms.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to compose routine correspondence and reports.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and evolving business needs.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support shared recruiting goals and responsibilities.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • This position operates in a primarily remote, hybrid work environment, combining remote work with occasional in-office work. The specific schedule may vary based on business needs.
  • Occasional travel to recruiting events, community partners, schools, or company locations may be required.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform the normal range of office-related physical activities.
