Program Technician II - Interim

DVHA's Clinical Operations Unit (COU) is seeking an interim team member to support clerical and paraprofessional work. This role will help support the processing of medical and dental prior authorization requests into multiple systems to support a medical necessity determination by clinical staff. This process includes data entry and data abstraction. Other administrative tasks performed will be responding to faxes, emails, phone calls, form development, and capturing meeting minutes.

The Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA) supports a hybrid work environment. Upon hire, employees work with their supervisor to create a schedule that aligns with the business needs of the unit.

Minimum Qualifications: Two years or more of full-time college coursework OR an associate's degree or higher AND two (2) years or more of experience at or above a technical level in program administration OR High School diploma or equivalent AND three (3) years or more of experience at or above a technical level in program administration OR One (1) year or more of experience as a Program Technician I with the State of Vermont.

Preferred Qualifications: Two years or more of full-time college coursework OR an associate's degree or higher AND two (2) years or more of experience of administrative work in an office setting, such as complex data entry and data retrieval from multiple systems, customer service, triaging phone calls, taking minutes, and scheduling meetings. Effective written and oral communication. Microsoft knowledge.
