Ventura Properties, LLC is looking for a Maintenance Journeyman with proficientcy in: Home Remodeling to include; dry-wall, painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, swamp coolers, and HVAC. This role is integral to the overall success of our operations, specializing in Townhome Rental turns and remodels, requiring an individual who is highly skilled in problem-solving, self-motivated, and passionate about providing quality customer service. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical aptitude, profound understanding of maintenance operations, and up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations. To excel in this role, the Maintenance Journeyman should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to handle complex, multi-functional projects, all while working with minimal supervision. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, and periodically on-call for emergency resident situations.

**SIGN ON BONUS** - Earn a $500 BONUS after 90 days of successful employment.

• Skilled execution:Performing installation, maintenance, and repair work with a high level of expertise in a specific trade.
• Interpretation:Reading and understanding technical documents like blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to plan work.
• Problem-solving:Troubleshooting issues and finding solutions for problems in the systems or equipment they work on.
• Independence:Working independently without constant supervision from a master craftsman.
• Safety:Adhering to all safety standards and company regulations.

SKILLS

• Electrical: Installing conduit, wiring, and electrical apparatus; installing switchgear; and troubleshooting circuits.
• Carpentry: Fabricating and installing framework, windows, doors, and trim; performing rough and finish carpentry; and repairing wood structures.
• Plumbing: Installing and repairing water, gas, and drainage systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures like toilets, sinks, and water heaters.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Problem-solving: Analyzing and resolving complex plumbing issues.
• Communication: Clearly explaining issues and solutions to clients.
• Customer service: Providing excellent service to customers.
• Independence: Working unsupervised and managing time effectively.
• Team: Working well with team members collaborating on projects.
• Physical stamina: Having the physical ability to perform manual labor.
• Record-keeping: Maintaining accurate records of materials and labor. Teck Savvy helpful.

QUALIFICATIONS

• MUST be 25 years or older.
• HVAC and EPA Refrigerant certification is a must
• Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Personnel are expected to perform repetitive physical tasks that require lifting, pushing, and pulling of material/product and standing throughout each shift.
• Valid driver's license and Reliable transportation.
• Successful background check.
