About the Role

We are looking for a Finance ERP Consultant to join our delivery team. You do not need previous Odoo experience. What matters most is your understanding of Polish accounting and financial processes, your experience working with ERP systems, and your interest in process improvement, automation, and client‑facing work.

In this role, you will learn Odoo ERP and help clients improve their finance and accounting processes through effective system implementation, configuration, and consulting. You will work closely with clients, business analysts, developers, project managers, and QA engineers to understand business needs, design practical solutions, and support ERP implementation projects from discovery to go‑live.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clients’ finance and accounting processes through workshops, interviews, and documentation review, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement.
• Help design practical ERP‑based solutions using standard Odoo functionality where possible, especially around accounting, invoicing, payments, taxes, purchasing, sales, and related business flows.
• Translate finance and accounting requirements into clear functional specifications for developers, QAs, project managers, and other delivery team members.
• Configure standard Odoo functionality and support testing, user acceptance, go‑live preparation, and post‑launch improvements.
• Communicate with clients and users, explain system logic, clarify requirements, and support them in adopting new processes.
• Gradually develop an understanding of how Finance connects with other Odoo modules, including Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing, and HR, to support end‑to‑end business process implementation.

Must Have

• 1.5+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Financial Controlling, or a similar finance‑related role.
• Strong understanding of Polish accounting and tax processes, including VAT, invoices, payments, reporting, and month‑end / year‑end closing.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Interest in how ERP systems work and how they can be used to improve, automate, and simplify financial processes.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to understand processes, identify root causes, and suggest improvements.
• Strong communication skills and readiness to work with clients, internal teams, and business stakeholders.
• Polish level B2+ and English level B2 or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience participating in ERP implementation, migration, testing, or system improvement projects.
• Experience working with IT teams, external consultants, ERP vendors, or internal business users.
• Experience training users, preparing process documentation, or supporting colleagues in working with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of KSeF, JPK, Polish VAT reporting, or other Polish finance localization topics.
• Previous experience with Odoo ERP.
