About the Role:

The Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and assets within the facility. This position involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents to prevent and mitigate security breaches. The Security Officer will also be responsible for managing access control systems and ensuring that only authorized personnel enter restricted areas. Effective communication and collaboration with law enforcement and emergency services are essential to ensure a swift response to any security threats. Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations.
• Must be 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with security technology and systems, including surveillance cameras and access control software.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Previous experience in a customer service role.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure the safety of all individuals.
• Manage access control systems, including checking identification and issuing visitor passes.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, documenting all actions taken and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate security efforts and share relevant information.
• Maintain logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
