Insurance & Billing Specialist

Valued Voices | Irvine, CA | Part-time, 15–20 hrs/week (starting)| $20/hour

Valued Voices is a pediatric speech and occupational therapy practice. We're hiring a part-time Insurance & Billing Specialist to join our team. 

What you'll do

• Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations
• Submit claims, post payments, and follow up on denials and outstanding balances
• Answer family billing questions and set up payment plans
• Maintain clinician credentialing and payer enrollment
• Schedule and reschedule client appointments

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of medical billing and insurance verification experience
• Working knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding, EOBs, and appeals
• Strong attention to detail and warm, clear communication with families
• CPC, CPB, and/or CPCS certification preferred
• Pediatric therapy billing experience a plus

Schedule

The first three months are in person at our Irvine office. After that, there's an option to move to a hybrid schedule.
