Job description
Valspec—a global provider of system validation and lifecycle services—provides commissioning and qualification of computerized systems for clients in the Life Sciences industry. Established in 1999, Valspec's mission is to provide a wide spectrum of services that help its clients meet their capital project and lifecycle maintenance goals.
Valspec's projects are critical to the industry, and to the people who rely on its products. Many projects ensure that life-changing drugs are available to those who need them; others streamline production to meet demand at a lower cost, allowing for the discovery of new and innovative therapies.
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced C&Q Lead to provide program-level leadership for a major greenfield pharmaceutical manufacturing expansion on the East Coast. This is a high-visibility owner's-agent role overseeing commissioning and qualification strategy across multiple facilities and workstreams.
What You'll Do
- Establish CQV governance and execution strategy for a multi-facility program
- Lead program-level planning, reporting, and milestone tracking
- Coordinate CQV managers and cross-functional stakeholder groups
- Support executive-level decision-making and issue resolution
- Act as owner's agent across vendor selection and deliverable management
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years leading CQV programs on large capital pharma, biotech, or advanced manufacturing projects
- Experience with Validation Master Plans, cross-discipline program management, and owner-side project delivery
- Comfortable operating across utilities, facilities, equipment, and automation validation
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Location: East Coast (site-specific details shared during interview process)
