Job description

Our family owned and operated long term, 53 bed facility is searching for LVNs to join our fantastic team! The ideal candidate must be licensed in the State or California as a LVN, current on CPR certification or willing to gain certification prior to hire, open to new experiences and acquiring innovative skill sets, and have a passion to care for those we have been entrusted to steward. Pay ranges from $29 to $35 based on experience
PRN, AM 6-2:30, PM 2-10:30, NOC 10p-6:30a

Scope of Position includes:

Dental , Vision and Health

Objective

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.

  • Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.

  • Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.

  • Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.

  • Conducts family and patient education.

  • Demonstrates the ability to administer medications timely and according to facility policy.

  • Demonstrates the ability to administer treatments timely and according to facility policy.

  • Demonstrates ability to receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act

  • Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

  • Currently licensed as LPN/ LVN in state
