The Tow Truck Operator is responsible for safely towing and recovering vehicles across a variety of environments including urban areas, highways, and rural regions. Operating primarily as a solo operator, this role involves managing light-duty and heavy-duty towing assignments, accident recovery, and illegal parking enforcement. The operator must navigate routes efficiently, secure loads properly, assist customers professionally, and handle equipment maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Flexibility for scheduled shifts and on-call availability, including nights and weekends, is essential. **Must be able to work NIGHTS & WEEKENDS** Pay is Based on experience
Responsibilities
- Tow light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles in urban, highway, and rural locations
- Secure loads to ensure safe transport and recovery
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet customer and service demands
- Assist customers with towing and recovery inquiries and processes
- Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure operational readiness
- Manage accident scenes adhering to safety and legal requirements

Required Qualifications
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Towing endorsement for operating tow trucks
- Experience operating tow trucks for vehicle towing and recovery
- Basic vehicle repair skills
- Proficiency in route planning and navigation

- Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance standards
