We're looking for an experienced Low Voltage Foreman to lead field operations and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Position Overview

The Low Voltage Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, supervising installation crews, coordinating with project managers and other trades, and ensuring work is completed on schedule and in accordance with project specifications.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring technicians, solving field challenges, and driving successful project execution in a fast-paced construction environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Site Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, assigning daily tasks and ensuring all installations meet VIP Systems’ quality standards.
  
• Trade Coordination: Act as the primary onsite point of contact for General Contractors and other MEP trades to ensure project schedules are synchronized.
  
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety standards and project-specific safety protocols, conducting daily tool-box talks and site inspections.
  
• Material Logistics: Track onsite inventory, stage materials for upcoming phases, and coordinate with the office to prevent supply delays.
  
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, track labor hours, and update project drawings to reflect real-time field changes.
  

• Minimum 5 years of experience in low-voltage systems installation.
  
• At least 2 years of experience as a Foreman, Lead Technician, or Supervisor.
  
• Extensive experience with:
  • Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber Optic)
    
  • CCTV Systems
    
  • Access Control Systems
    
  • Network Infrastructure
    
• Experience working on commercial or high-rise construction projects.
  
• Ability to read construction drawings and technical documentation.
  
• Experience using project management platforms such as Pro core, Field-wire, or similar software.
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
  
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
