About Us

Vibra-Conn LLC is a growing supplier of vibration isolation and architectural noise control products serving mechanical contractors, engineers, and builders throughout New England. Our mission is to help our customers deliver quiet, efficient, and reliable building systems through high-quality products and exceptional service.

We’re looking for a Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our team and play a key role in preparing accurate, competitive quotes and proposals for commercial and institutional construction projects.

Position Summary

The Technical Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting revenue growth and customer retention within an assigned portfolio of existing customers by delivering technical sales support, estimating services, proposal development, and account management for vibration isolation, seismic bracing, and thermal piping expansion engineering. This role serves as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring exceptional service, identifying additional service opportunities, and supporting long-term customer relationships.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 annually with a commission plan tied to sales volume and profit margin after a probation period of one year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with assigned customers, serving as their primary point of contact for product inquiries, quotations, and project opportunities.
  • Consult with customers to understand operational needs and develop solutions involving vibration isolation, seismic bracing, and thermal piping expansion engineering services.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and proposals by reviewing requests for proposals (RFPs), specifications, drawings, blueprints, and other project documentation.
  • Analyze material, equipment, and time requirements to develop competitive pricing, project budgets, and service proposals.
  • Present proposals and estimates through written and verbal communications, including customer meetings and presentations.
  • Identify opportunities to expand service offerings within existing customer accounts and support customer retention and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate with operations, administrative personnel, and estimating teams to ensure accurate proposals, successful project execution, and timely customer billing.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of vibration isolation, seismic bracing, and thermal piping expansion engineering along with other ancillary product lines offered to our customer base.
  • Monitor customer needs, market conditions, and service trends to proactively address client requirements and identify opportunities for additional support.
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, and industry partners while upholding the organization's commitment to industry expertise.
  • Contribute to team objectives and overall business performance through collaboration, continuous improvement, and effective execution of sales, estimating, and account management responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in technical sales, estimating, account management, or customer support within the commercial and industrial HVAC industry.
  • Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and specifications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with Bluebeam or similar software is a bonus.
  • Experience with budgeting, cost analysis, and profit/loss considerations.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple bids and projects at once.
