At VE Solutions, our Warehouse Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials, inventory accuracy, and timely shipment of parts to our customers. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, and shipping inventory while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment. The Warehouse Lead works closely with Operations, Purchasing, and Production to ensure inventory is accurate and materials are available when needed.

This position leads by example, promotes teamwork, and supports continuous improvement throughout the warehouse.

Requirements

Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Receiving

• Receive all incoming parts and materials. 
• Receive incoming FedEx and other carrier shipments. 
• Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders. 
• Enter all received inventory into NetSuite accurately and promptly. 
• Put away inventory in designated warehouse locations. 
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies. 
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory throughout the facility. 
• Participate in ongoing inventory improvement initiatives across all warehouse locations. 

Shipping

• Pick, pack, and prepare small parcel shipments for FedEx and other carriers. 
• Bill and process all parts orders shipped each day. 
• Ensure all shipments are accurate, properly packaged, and shipped on schedule. 
• Prepare shipping documentation as required. 

Warehouse Operations

• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the shipping dock. 
• Keep the receiving aisle organized, safe, and free of obstructions. 
• Perform transfer orders between company buildings. 
• Ensure inventory is stored properly and warehouse space is utilized efficiently. 
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks when necessary. 

Leadership

• Lead daily warehouse activities through communication, organization, and accountability. 
• Help train new warehouse employees on procedures and best practices. 
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency. 
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment. 
• Follow and enforce all company safety procedures. 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience required. 
• Prior leadership or lead experience preferred. 
• Experience using ERP systems; NetSuite experience strongly preferred. 
• Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to become certified. 
• Strong organizational and time management skills. 
• Excellent attention to detail and inventory accuracy. 
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
