Description:Job Summary

As a Warehouse Agent you will contribute to the timely delivery of Express packages by loading and unloading of air freight containers, moving these containers from airplane to truck for on-time delivery to our customers at our airport location. This job is a cross-dock operation; your role is to move Express packages from aircraft to warehouse to trucks with no/minimal storage.  Our indoor facility is an open-air environment and not temperature controlled, and you may work in or around aircraft. Responsibilities

• Load and unload package containers, moving packages by hand and pushcart, to warehouse to truck
• Build up package containers ready for outbound flights
• Break down package containers from arriving flights
• Remove tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading
• Sort, scan and move small packages within the warehouse
• Operate package handling equipment such as pallet jacks and gaylords (push carts)
• Check air express containers for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate per air safety and security guidelines

Shift differential:  $2/hour for overnight shift

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in similar role required
• Valid Driver’s license required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays.  Peak Season (November-December) may require longer hours
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language 
• Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without, assistance of sight or visual aids

Preferred Skills

• Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays, and days off.
• Ability to judge distances.
• Ability to successfully communicate with others.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, multiple times a day
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, rain, wind and snow
• Ability to stand for an entire shift and travel long distances across our facilities by foot
