Looking for directional drill operator (HDD) to install underground utilities (fiber optic). Working closely with a locator and ground crew to execute accurate bore shots
Key responsibilities:
*operate horizontal directional drill (HDD) Vermeer equipment
*plan and execute bore paths based on utility locates and depth requirements
*coordinate with locator via radio and hand signals to adjust drill head direction and path
*maintain equipment including mixing drilling fluids and performing routine mechanical troubleshooting
Qualifications:
1-2+ years experience in directional boring and underground utility installation
