JOB SUMMARY: 

The Premium Experience Department is dedicated to providing world-class premium service and delivering unique experiences and benefits to Utah Jazz premium seating holders. The Premium Experience Host position is responsible for greeting, seating, and creating positive and professional interactions with guests throughout all pre, regular, and postseason Utah Jazz home games. Premium Experience Host locations include but are not limited to: The Delta Sky360 Club, the Gallagher Club, the Interform Club, the Black Desert Club, the Toyota Club, Courtside Suites, Corner Lounges, Suite-level, Club Entrances, and Entrata Courtside Club. Specific assignments will be determined by the host's direct supervisor at the time of hire and are subject to change from event to event. Expected hours will vary depending on the Utah Jazz home game schedule and specific host location assignments. 

This is a part-time seasonal position and is expected to begin September 2026 and continue through the last Utah Jazz home game (playoffs included). This job description pertains to the Premium Experience Host position with the Utah Jazz. Successful candidates will be assigned exclusively to the Utah Jazz. $17 per hour.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Be prepared and willing to work in a variety of premium areas as needed to support the team as a whole
  • Exhibit a positive and happy attitude that is friendly and contagious to those around you
  • Warmly welcome guests as they arrive for pre-game dinner and half-time amenities
  • Be knowledgeable and familiar with the arena, premium seating locations and your specific assigned area to best assist guests
  • Present yourself in a confident and professional manner in both appearance and personality, dress code standards will be provided
  • Scan tickets to games/events 
  • Ensure your assigned area is properly prepared and ready for guests to arrive and maintained throughout the event
  • Exemplify the Utah Jazz Premium Experience A-Game Principles: Actively look to create extraordinary moments, Greet every guest and each other, Anticipate guests' needs, Make eye contact and smile, and End with a "thank you" and an invite back
  • Operate with an emphasis on safety for employees, teams, and guests 
  • Protect the reputation of the company
  • Exemplify the Utah Jazz mission and values: transparent, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappy
  • Accept other duties, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must be available two and a half (2.5) hours before each pre, regular, and postseason Utah Jazz home game and throughout the remainder of each game (this includes working weekends, nights, and holidays)
  • Must be available to attend pre-season training sessions in September/October
  • Must possess and maintain excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to enforce club rules in a pleasant and agreeable manner
  • Must be punctual, groomed, and dressed in uniform for a professional environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
  • Must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs
