Urgent Psych Rx is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Licensed Therapist to join our growing behavioral health team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about providing high-quality mental health care to both children and adults and values flexibility in their work schedule.
This is a part-time hybrid position, offering the opportunity to provide services virtually while also having access to an in-person clinical setting at our Grand Prairie location.

Position Overview
The Licensed Therapist will provide patient-centered behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. The ideal candidate will be clinically skilled, dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working with a diverse patient population across both virtual and in-person settings.
The therapist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing psychotherapy, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with other members of the patient's care team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults through telehealth and/or in-person visits.
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Establish a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients of all ages.
Build strong therapeutic relationships with children, adults, parents/guardians, and families.
Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment goals as clinically appropriate.
Collaborate with parents, guardians, caregivers, and other members of the patient's support system when appropriate.
Coordinate care with psychiatric providers, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in multidisciplinary team communication and clinical collaboration.
Maintain professional, ethical, and HIPAA-compliant practices.
Manage a part-time caseload while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches appropriate to each patient's age, needs, and treatment goals.
Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
Current, unrestricted clinical license appropriate for practice in Texas.
Ability and willingness to provide therapy to both children and adults.
Experience working with children and adolescents strongly preferred.
Experience providing telehealth services preferred.
Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Comfortable communicating with patients, parents/guardians, and families.
Strong commitment to patient-centered and culturally responsive care.
Reliable internet connection and a private, professional environment suitable for telehealth services.
