Assembler 

Pay Rate: $18- $21 Depending on day or night shift
MUST BE ABLE TO INTERVIEW IN PERSON-
All candidates must be local to Shreveport, LA and have a valid DL.


NO ASSEMBLY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO APPLY (TRAINING OFFERED)

Current Available Shifts:
  • Weekday AM Shift: 7am - 5:30pm (Monday - Thursday) with some mandatory OT on Fridays
  • Weekday PM Shift: Monday - Friday (5pm - 3:30am)

All contractors must train on the weekday day shift (Monday - Friday, 7am - 5:30pm) for at least 3 weeks and then will be moved to the night shift during the week or stay on the weekday day shift if that is the shift they were hired for.

Job Summary:
The Assembly and Test Operator is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Assemblers. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in our production process! Join our team as an Assembler and be part of a dynamic work environment where your skills are valued and opportunities for growth are available.
Responsibilities:
  • Assemble components of all products, selecting the correct tools and fixtures.
  • Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
  • Read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
  • Create labor records for all transactions.
  • Ensure good housekeeping within own work area.
  • Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to relating Risk Assessments.
  • Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or related experience.
  • Must be mechanically adept; able to use a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions; write legibly.
  • Experience working with assembly related operations or equivalent preferred.
