Job description

Position Summary

Unlimited Behavior Solutions (UBS) is seeking compassionate, motivated, and enthusiastic Behavior Therapists to join our growing clinical team. At UBS, we believe meaningful change occurs through respectful, individualized support that helps people build independence, confidence, and a life aligned with their own goals and values.

Behavior Therapists work directly with adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities across home, community, vocational, and social settings. Services focus on increasing independence, communication, self-advocacy, emotional regulation, social relationships, adaptive living skills, and community participation.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing careers in Applied Behavior Analysis, psychology, education, counseling, social work, or related fields.

What You’ll Do

As a Behavior Therapist, you will:

  • Implement individualized behavior support and skill acquisition programs developed by a BCBA.
  • Teach communication, social, adaptive living, vocational, and community participation skills.
  • Support individuals during community outings, recreational activities, employment, and daily living routines.
  • Collect accurate behavioral and skill acquisition data using electronic data collection systems.
  • Assist clients in developing coping strategies, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Implement proactive, positive behavior support strategies that reduce the need for restrictive interventions.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, support staff, and interdisciplinary professionals.
  • Participate in team meetings, clinical trainings, and ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain professional documentation while following ethical and confidentiality standards.
  • Represent UBS with professionalism, compassion, and respect in every interaction.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Are passionate about helping others reach meaningful life goals.
  • Enjoy teaching and building relationships.
  • Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
  • Are dependable and self-motivated.
  • Thrive working both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team.
  • Value person-centered, strengths-based approaches to care.

Experience is preferred but not required. UBS provides comprehensive training for motivated individuals.

Requirements include:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass background clearance requirements
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to safely assist clients in community environments
