Job Title: Surgical Tech Travel

Location: Morristown, New Jersey

Pay Rate: $44 $46 per hour (W-2)

Shift: Day Shift | 37.5 hours per week

Duration: 3 months

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technician to join our team in Morristown, NJ. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting surgical procedures and ensuring a sterile and safe environment in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the care of surgical patients during operative procedures.

  • Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgery.

  • Understand the surgical procedure being performed and anticipate the surgeon's needs.

  • Maintain a sterile field and provide quality patient care throughout the procedure.

  • Follow instructions from physicians and RNs, adhering to hospital operating room policies.

  • Consistently practice Standard Precautions to ensure patient and staff safety.

  • Maintain a safe environment in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience.

  • Experience in orthopedics and sports medicine preferred.

  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 35 lbs.

  • Capable of tolerating long periods of sitting, standing, and walking.

  • Certified Surgical Technician credential is required.

Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
