Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations and assessments to develop evidence-based, tailored therapeutic strategies for clients.
• Provide therapeutic services through modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, family counseling, and individual therapy while ensuring a supportive environment for open communication and healing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in workshops and professional development activities to stay informed about the latest research and trends in mental health practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at Unity Point, you will serve a varied patient population, including individuals seeking help for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience is required, preferably within a clinical framework.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for establishing rapport with a diverse client base.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and related technologies is crucial.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or experience in family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment is highly desirable.
• Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive client care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, complemented by performance-based bonuses.
