Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs.
  • Create, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnoses, treatment outcomes, and evolving needs.
  • Facilitate individual counseling sessions and family therapy to address underlying issues and improve coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to devise effective discharge plans that ensure continuity of care.
  • Provide education and consultation to patients, families, and external agencies on mental health resources, treatment options, and community support services.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify therapeutic approaches to adapt to changes in their mental health status.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, facilitating communication with healthcare providers and community resources to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as ethical standards and best practices within mental health counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse patient population experiencing a range of mental health diagnoses, from depression and anxiety to more complex behavioral disorders. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to meet their unique needs and circumstances.

Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure in Washington State as an LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Psychologist.
  • Strong familiarity with community mental health resources and the ability to effectively navigate them for patient referrals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport with a diverse client base.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a behavioral health or community health setting is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, accompanied by an attractive benefits package. New hires may also qualify for a sign-on bonus up to $1,000.
