Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Sacramento, CA

Job Description:

·       Minimum of five (5) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible Project Manager experience applying project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.

·       Possession of (a) a bachelor’s degree, and (b) a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), which will be verified during the RFO process.

·       Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. The PMP certification is required and may not be substituted with additional experience.

·       Example: If the Experience requirement is five (5) years, and the individual is substituting four (4) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, a total of nine (9) years of experience is required.

·       Minimum of three (3) years of experience ERP application implementation for a large matrixed organization.

·       For purposes of meeting this MSQ, a “large-scale Software Project” is defined as a system having at least 5,000 system users and a total project cost of at least $20 million (defined as the total system development cost including planning, design, development and implementation).

·       Minimum of five (5) years of experience in writing/editing documentation such as, business processes, project management plans, and desk-reference guides, job-aids, training materials, procedures and guidelines. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.

·       Minimum of two (2) years of project management experience in the Design, Development & Implementation (DD&I) phases of a project implementing financial ERP software with multiple waves, iterations or releases.

·       Minimum of one (1) year of experience developing project management tools, templates, and procedures.
