Role Description The Project Manager’s responsibilities include planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. (S)He plans and designates project resources, monitors progress, and keeps stakeholders informed the entire way. The candidate will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.

Qualifications

  • Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involve all relevant stakeholders andensure technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Interact with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and representing themin the field
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule andcosts
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project participants to provide assistance andtechnical support
  • Investigates complaints and communicates to the customer, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Nonessential Functions

  • Knowledge of the German Language
  • Knowledge of Uhlmann Machines

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • CAD experience, with knowledge of SolidWorks preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP desirable but not necessary
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational competence with attention to detail
  • Excellent time-management and project management skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and management
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of the position
  • Ability to have a strong sense of urgency

Education, Experience, & Special Requirements

Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Licensing and/or Certifications: PMP desirable but not necessary

Experience: Requires a minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience

Special Requirements: Strong computer skills and strong organizational competence with attention to detail. Success Factors
