Job description


Principal Duties:

  • Operate a forklift to load and unload construction materials to and from flatbed trucks.

  • Organize construction materials in the yard.

  • Inventory construction materials when shipment arrives.

  • Take loads of materials to local shipping vendor. Pick up loads of materials from shipping vendor.

  • Prepare, fabricate, and pack materials for upcoming projects.

  • Receive and check in material shipments from vendors / suppliers. Advises supervisor of low levels of construction materials.

  • Prepare future orders. Up to and including the pulling of the necessary construction materials as needed for upcoming projects.

  • Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies.

  • Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.

Principal Requirements:

Must be able to regularly lift 60 pounds.

Must have valid driver's license and favorable traffic abstract.

One year warehouse experience preferred. Forklift certified preferred.

We primarily employ carpenters, laborers, sand operating engineers. We are signatory to collective bargaining agreements with the following unions listed below and are subject to the hiring rules of each collective bargaining agreement. We anticipate hiring for projects on Oahu, Maui, Hawaii, and Kauai as work becomes available and will be contacting the respective union to fill these positions.
