The Infusion Nurse plays a vital role within a dedicated infusion team, providing general infusion services while reporting to the Clinical Supervisor. This position demands skilled administration of IV therapies, continuous patient monitoring, and adherence to compliance standards in a clinical setting with no travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform IV insertion with precision and care
• Continuously monitor patient status during infusion therapy
• Administer medications safely and accurately
• Maintain thorough documentation of treatments and patient responses
• Provide patient education regarding infusion procedures and care
• Ensure maintenance and proper functioning of infusion equipment
• Respond promptly to emergencies during infusion sessions
• Adhere strictly to compliance and clinical protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Proficiency in IV therapy and venipuncture techniques
• Strong patient assessment and medication administration skills
• Effective patient education and communication abilities
• Excellent time management skills
