Theย Warehouse Associateย position provides support to the operations division including receiving, sorting, and loading freight into the proper location and/or trucks.
ย 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.ย Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Duties
  • Review the linehauls and routes coming into the warehouse.
  • Sort and stage the freight to ensure all deliveries go with the correct drivers.
  • Reconcile route sheets to ensure they match paperwork, investigate problems that may arise and address and correct any client service concerns.
  • Notify theย supervisorย immediately of all verbal or written inquiries concerning any in-house issues, missing freight, etc. to ensure that contractors are following proper customer procedures to avoid service issues.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds on occasion.
  • Ability to useย pallet jacks, carts, and hand trucksย to move freight around the warehouse.
  • Trailers are unloaded using forklifts.
  • Warehouse experienceย is preferred but not necessary.
  • Forklift Experienceย orย Certificationย preferred, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work overtime if needed
Shift Days:ย Monday through Friday
Shift Hours:ย 4:30am - 8:30am (Available to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays preferred.)
Pay Rate: $17-$19 per hour
