Community Support Technician

Universal MH/DD/SAS is hiring a compassionate and dependable Community Support Technician to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Catawba County. This position helps individuals participate in their communities, build daily living skills, and increase independence while receiving person-centered support.

What You'll Do

• Provide one-on-one support in home and community settings
• Assist individuals with daily living tasks, routines, and personal goals
• Support community outings, social engagement, and meaningful activities
• Help individuals develop skills that promote independence, confidence, and quality of life
• Follow individualized support plans and maintain appropriate documentation as required

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM

Saturday, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM

Location: Catawba County, NC

Pay: Competitive wages

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient approach to supporting others
• Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries
