Job description

2028-2029 Surgical Pathology/Specialties

Position title: Non-ACGME Fellow

Salary range: TBD

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine offers from 6-10 one-year fellowships in general surgical pathology and subspecialty surgical pathology. Pathology Fellows rotate through two week and month-long assignments at a senior or supervisory level. The year is intended to provide the fellow with that last layer of confidence necessary to practice surgical pathology independently in a variety of settings from small community hospitals to large community hospitals or academic institutions.

Basic qualifications: These positions are open to applicants who have completed training in a US or Canadian ACGME accredited AP/CP or AP only residency program. Applicant must be Board eligible or Board certified. International medical school graduates will only be considered if they have completed residency training in a US or Canadian ACGME accredited residency program. A California medical license is required on day one of appointment.
