    Job description

    Job Details:

    Pay is $18.55 per hour.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of (3) months operator experience within the last 12 months. Experience may be from a combination of employers if it totals at least 3 months. This must be documented within your application or uploaded resume to be considered for an interview.

    REHIRES ARE SUBJECT TO A 181 DAY WAIT PERIOD, determined from their last date of employment to be considered for an interview.

    CANDIDATES THAT HAVE WORKED FOR TYSON FOODS OR TYSON AFFILIATES 3 OR MORE TIMES WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR REHIRE.

    MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION.

    MUST BE SAFE AND OBSERVE ALL OF TYSONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

    The position requires the performance of various labor and operator duties throughout the facility. Responsibilities may include roles such as spice attendant, janitor, stacker, metal detector operator, or any available machine operator position during day or night shifts. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of all labor positions. These roles may be assigned to any department within the facility, including the Raw Process or the Ready-to-Eat Process.

    Job Description: This position must be capable of performing all jobs in the First Processing area. Keep evisceration floors clean, give breaks, sanitize knives and gloves, keep tables and racks clear of birds and any other duties assigned. Fill in as needed per supervisor.

    Additional responsibility is filling any daily staffing needs in the First Processing area. Utility will report to production management at the beginning of each shift and await job assignment.

    • Ability to perform a variety of production and support roles within the assigned department

    • Ability to operate machinery, tools, and equipment as required

    • Ability to complete Tyson paperwork accurately

    • Ability to communicate with plant management, supervisors, and other team members in person and via radio

    • Ability to provide relief breaks and cover staffing needs as assigned

    • Ability to follow safety, quality, and production standards
