Job description

Twin Cities PBS is seeking a strategic, creative, and analytical marketing professional to help grow audiences, deepen community engagement and advance our mission through integrated marketing campaigns and compelling communications.
The Integrated Marketing Specialist translates organizational and departmental priorities into integrated marketing plans and executes campaigns for programming, community initiatives, membership campaigns, and organizational priorities. This role combines campaign planning, content development, paid digital marketing, and performance analysis to help ensure our work reaches the right audiences with the right message at the right time.
The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, storyteller, and marketer - someone who can take established priorities and objectives and turn them into actionable marketing plans, compelling content, effective digital campaigns, and measurable results.
Compensation: $67,000 to $77,000 annually in addition to company provided benefits.
Hybrid Work Environment: Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the Twin Cities Metro area and report to onsite office a minimum of three days per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
CONTENT PLANNING & COMMUNICATIONS (35% of time)
  • Manage an integrated marketing editorial calendar aligned with priorities from content, membership, and lifelong learning teams.
  • Lead cross-functional ideation and translate organizational priorities into actionable marketing plans and content.
  • Write and edit audience-focused content for email, web, social, and other channels as needed,
  • Develop messaging that reflects the Twin Cities PBS brand, voice, and audience needs.
  • Support content development for campaigns, programming, events, and organizational initiatives.
  • Create internal and external reports and presentations.
  • Support media relations efforts by developing promotional messaging, pitches, and supporting materials.
  • Support executive communications and organizational messaging as needed.

CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT (30% of time)
  • Partner with content, membership, and lifelong learning teams to translate established priorities and objectives into integrated marketing plans and KPIs.
  • Create campaign plans, messaging frameworks, timelines, and channel recommendations.
  • Serve as the day-to-day marketing lead for assigned campaigns, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and execution across channels
  • Identify new opportunities to grow awareness, engagement, and audience participation.

PAID DIGITAL MARKETING (20% of time)
  • Plan, launch and optimize paid campaigns across search, social, and video platforms.
  • Manage campaign budgets and monitor performance against established KPIs.
  • Test creative, messaging, audiences, and placements to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends, platform updates and emerging best practices.

ANALYTICS & PERFORMANCE (10% of time)
  • Translate marketing and audience data into actionable recommendations for campaign strategy and future planning.
  • Develop regular reports and dashboards that communicate results and insights.
  • Analyze audience behavior and marketing performance to inform future campaigns.
  • Recommend optimization strategies based on performance data.

OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED (5% of time)
  • Participate as an active member of the MarComm Team. Contribute to shared goals and collaborate with colleagues on achievement of priorities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, content marketing, or integrated campaign development.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels.
  • Experience developing content and communications for digital audiences, including email and web.
  • Experience with paid digital advertising platforms and campaign optimization.
  • Experience using marketing analytics and performance data to inform decision-making.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Experience working in a nonprofit, public media, or other mission-driven organization.
  • Experience with CMS platforms, email marketing systems, and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience managing or supporting paid digital campaigns, including Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other marketing analytics and reporting tools.
  • Experience with audience segmentation, targeting, and customer journey planning.
