Part-Time Clerical & Operations Assistant
Tway Family Home
Part-Time | Up to 20 Hours per Week | $25.00 per Hour

Tway Family Home is seeking a dependable, organized, and flexible Part-Time Clerical & Operations Assistant to help support the day-to-day clerical and operational needs of our residential care program.
This is a varied position that combines clerical, documentation, and compliance support with errands and hands-on operational support. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, pays close attention to details, follows through on assignments, and is willing to help wherever needed to keep the home and program running smoothly.
Clerical, Documentation & Compliance Duties
  • Complete and organize routine reports, forms, and documentation.
  • Monitor records, data, deadlines, and required documentation.
  • Assist with licensing and Regional Center documentation and requirements.
  • Maintain organized employee personnel and training files.
  • Track employee training requirements, certifications, and expiration dates.
  • Assist with preparing, filing, scanning, copying, and organizing documents.
  • Enter and review information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Follow up on missing documentation or information as directed.
  • Assist management with other clerical tasks and projects as needed.
Operational Support
  • Grocery shopping and purchasing household/program supplies.
  • Pick up prescriptions, supplies, paperwork, or other needed items.
  • Complete local errands for the home and program.
  • Help organize supplies, storage areas, files, and other household or program materials.
  • Assist with minor household tasks and projects as needed.
  • Provide general support to help the home and program operate efficiently.
The ideal candidate is:
  • Dependable and consistent.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a task list.
  • Able to follow instructions and complete assignments accurately.
  • Good at noticing when something is missing or needs follow-up.
  • Comfortable using computers, email, spreadsheets, and online systems.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality regarding residents and employees.
  • Flexible and willing to switch between clerical work, errands, and practical tasks.
  • Someone who takes pride in completing tasks thoroughly and following through.
  • Prior experience with our specific licensing, Regional Center, or program requirements is not necessary. We will provide training. We are primarily looking for someone who is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with computers, and willing to learn.   Experience with clerical work, healthcare, residential care, developmental disabilities, employee records, or similar settings is helpful, but not required for the right candidate.
Schedule & Pay
  • $25.00 per hour
  • Part-time, up to 20 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling. Hours can be arranged based on the employee's availability and the needs of the position.
  • Some tasks and errands may need to be completed during regular business hours.
  • We are looking for someone who can independently manage their time and ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and on time.
About the Position
This is a great position for someone who enjoys variety. On one day, you may be updating employee training records and completing reports; on another, you may be grocery shopping, organizing supplies, picking up paperwork, or helping complete a household project.
The goal of this position is simple: help management stay organized, keep required documentation current, and provide practical support so the home and program run smoothly.
