Tuttle Christian Church is a growing independent Christian church located just outside Oklahoma City in the highly involved and supportive community of Tuttle, Oklahoma. With an average Sunday attendance of 350+ and a thriving next-generation ministry serving 140+ students in grades 6–12 and more than 275 children and students on Wednesday nights, TCC is committed to creating a Christ-centered environment where people are known, discipled, and equipped to live out their faith.

Role Description

The Student Minister will lead Tuttle Christian Church’s ministry to students in grades 6–12, creating a Christ-centered culture where students are known, discipled, challenged to grow, and equipped to live out their faith. This position will build meaningful relationships with students, partner with and equip parents, and recruit, train, and shepherd a strong team of adult volunteers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ministry; Restoration Movement college preferred
• 3–5 years of ministry experience preferred
• Ordained or willing to be ordained
• Actively attending a Restoration Movement church
• Ability to build trust and meaningful relationships with students while maintaining healthy boundaries
• Strong pastoral and leadership skills
• Ability to recruit, train, and shepherd adult volunteers
• Ability to partner with and equip parents in discipling their students
• Ability to develop or select culturally relevant, doctrinally sound curriculum
• Willingness to engage with students and the community outside regularly scheduled programs
• Willingness to learn and use Church Center App, Planning Center, and modern A/V equipment
• Demonstrates humility, coachability, and a desire to continue growing as a pastor, speaker, and leader
