Located in the heart of South Tulsa, Hardesty is known for its vibrant programming. Hardesty is home to the Geneology Resource Center, Connor's Cove, and Frossard Auditorium!
Salary: $11.50/hr.
Status: Part Time - 16 hour/week
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday: 11am to 3pm
Location: 8316 E. 93rd Street, Tulsa

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to read and perform alphabetic and numeric sorting;
  • Basic computer skills, including ability to learn libraryโ€™s automated system;
  • Ability to help customers with their basic computer needs, including e-mail, answering Microsoft product questions, and navigating the Internet;
  • Ability to provide directions.
Education and Experience:
  • Some high school education or training required;
  • No previous experience required.

Physical and Environmental Conditions:
Work requires pushing moderately heavy items (up to 50 pounds), lifting up to 25 pounds, and very long periods of walking and/or standing, and frequently requires stooping, stretching and bending.
Work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions, e.g. use of safe work place practices with office equipment, and/or avoidance of trips and falls. There are occasional minor discomforts from exposure to less than optimal temperatures (extreme cold or heat) and air conditions due to exposure to the outdoors.
