Event Cook - Très LA Group
Part-Time | Nights & Weekends Required | Fine Dining Catering
Hourly Rate - $23 - $25 per hour

Très LA Group is an award-winning catering company known for elevated food, impeccable service, and unforgettable events across Los Angeles. We're looking for passionate and skilled Event Cooks to join our part-time team and help bring exceptional culinary experiences to life.
This is a part-time role, and because of the nature of events, availability on nights and weekends is essential.
Summary
As an Event Cook, you'll prepare and execute high-quality food in alignment with our recipes and standards, while ensuring safety and cleanliness in every kitchen space you enter. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for cooks who take pride in their craft and can adapt quickly on-site.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food per event recipes and specifications
  • Support the Event Chef with prep, setup, and execution
  • Cut, portion, and organize ingredients with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain consistent taste, texture, and presentation standards
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with health codes
  • Execute proper food rotation, storage, and closing procedures
  • Collaborate with event team and assist with other duties as needed
Skills & Experience
  • At least 1 year of professional kitchen experience
  • Strong knife skills and equipment safety knowledge
  • High attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Familiarity with a wide range of cuisines and cooking techniques
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Clean, professional appearance and adherence to PPE standards
Requirements
  • Valid California Food Handler's Card (ANSI-certified)
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift 20-50 lbs
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
