Position Overview

True Motion Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home care team in Union, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in improving the quality of life for patients by delivering personalized therapy services in the comfort of their homes. With a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, this position offers both financial rewards and impactful work.

Work Environment

This position is strictly onsite, operating within patients' homes throughout Union and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical capabilities and needs in their home environment.
  • Create individualized treatment plans based on each patient's conditions, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic methods including exercise programs, manual techniques, and modern therapeutic equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
  • Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on the patient's response and evolving needs.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on best practices for recovery and self-care, including the use of assistive devices.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in physical therapy through ongoing education workshops, professional publications, and networking within the healthcare community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist with True Motion, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from children to the elderly. Your role will involve treating individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, tailoring your approach to each patient’s unique needs and circumstances. This direct patient interaction in their home not only allows for personalized care but also enhances the therapeutic relationship, fostering trust and collaboration.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
  • A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of New Jersey.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and their families.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records and basic office software.
  • Flexibility and agility to adapt treatment plans as per dynamic patient needs.
  • No prior work experience is necessary, making this an ideal opportunity for recent graduates.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in home care settings or acute rehabilitation environments.
  • Familiarity with assistive devices and adaptive techniques for enhancing patient independence.
  • Previous engagement in continuing education related to physical therapy methods or patient management.

True Motion Physical Therapy offers an attractive salary range between USD 100,000 and 120,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package.
