Role Description This is a full-time (1099) remote role for a Yacht Broker at Troyer Yachts – EST 2006. The Yacht Broker will manage client relationships, qualify prospects, and guide clients through the purchase, sale, and charter of yachts. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, preparing listings and sales materials, coordinating virtual and on-site viewings with partners, and negotiating offers and contracts. The role also involves working with marine service providers, legal and financial contacts, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions and high client satisfaction. The Yacht Broker is expected to maintain an active pipeline, provide prompt, professional communication, and uphold the company’s standards of discretion and integrity.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of boats, yachting practices, and the broader marine industry.
• Experience in yacht or vessel brokerage, including listing, marketing, and transaction management.
• Proven customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and handle multiple deals simultaneously.
• Comfort with digital tools for CRM, virtual meetings, online marketing, and document management.
• Prior experience working with high net worth clients or in a luxury goods/services environment is beneficial.
• Relevant professional certifications or licensing for yacht brokerage (where applicable) are an advantage.
