Triumph Public High Schools is a Texas-based, tuition-free, public charter high school with 9 schools operating in the State of Texas. Founded in 1990 by Mr. Eduardo Gutierrez and operating as The Student Alternatives Program, we rebranded in 2019 to Triumph Public High Schools. Position Overview
Triumph Public High Schools is seeking a dynamic, dedicated and passionate individual with a heart to serve and educate at-risk youth and young adults. As an Attendance Officer
at Triumph Public High Schools, you will support student success by monitoring, improving, and enforcing school attendance while working closely with students, families, and staff to remove barriers that prevent students from coming to school.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily attendance, identify patterns of absenteeism or tardiness, and ensure accurate reporting and documentation
  • Work with students, families, and staff to identify causes of absences and develop plans to improve attendance
  • Communicate with parents regarding attendance concerns, compulsory attendance laws, and required interventions
  • Maintain attendance records, reports, and case documentation in compliance with TEA and charter requirements
  • Support campus operations and student engagement through front office support, student check-in, and participation in outreach activities
This position may occasionally require work on Saturdays, during the summer, or travel within the State of Texas.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to pass pre-employment fingerprinting and background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • College credit or coursework in criminal justice, education, or a related field
  • Experience working in a school, charter school, or dropout recovery program
  • Experience with Texas attendance and truancy laws
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
Compensation
  • Annual Salary Range: $26,400-$29,040
    (based on a
    220
    -day work schedule)
  • Salary placement is based on education, experience, and credentials
  • Salary is prorated from the effective date of hire
(Equivalent to approximately $120.00-$132.00
per workday, depending on placement.)
