Job description

TripArc is looking for a UX Design Intern to join our Product Design team. This internship is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience designing real products used by travel professionals.

Working alongside experienced UX Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers, you'll contribute to solving meaningful user problems through research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and visual design. You'll learn how user-centered design influences product strategy while building practical experience across the entire product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the UX Design team, you will:

  • Support UX Designers in research, discovery, ideation, prototyping, and usability testing activities.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes for new features and product improvements.
  • Participate in user research, and helping synthesize insights.
  • Assist with competitive analysis and market research to better understand user needs and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other designers throughout the design process.
  • Prepare design documentation, presentations, and specifications for engineering handoff.
  • Incorporate feedback from teammates, stakeholders, and user testing into design iterations.
  • Learn and apply UX best practices while contributing to real product initiatives.

Skills We're Looking For:

  • Passion for creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn from feedback and mentorship.
  • Understanding of UX fundamentals, including user research, information architecture, interaction design, and usability principles.
  • Ability to communicate ideas through sketches, wireframes, and presentations.
  • Collaboration and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and eagerness to continuously improve.
  • Interest in AI tools and how they can support design, research, or prototyping workflows.
