Position Overview

• Role: Senior SAP S/4HANA PP/QM Functional Consultant
• Duration: Long-Term Contract
• Industry: Aerospace & Defense (A&D)
• Location: Remote / On-site requirements apply
• Core Focus: Drive end-to-end solutions and lead senior stakeholder workshops

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Design: Drive end-to-end architecture for Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM).
• Architect Solutions: Map complex A&D manufacturing processes to SAP S/4HANA best practices.
• Influence Stakeholders: Guide and influence senior client leadership on strategic technical decisions.
• Manage Workshops: Lead business blueprinting and requirement-gathering sessions independently.
• Integrate Systems: Ensure seamless PP/QM integration with MM, WM/EWM, SD, and FICO modules.
• Oversee Delivery: Guide technical teams through build, test, data migration, and deployment phases.

Technical Requirements

SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP)

• Discrete & Project Manufacturing: Deep expertise in complex assembly and project-based manufacturing (PPM/PS).
• Advanced Scheduling: Hands-on experience with embedded PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling).
• Shop Floor Integration: Mastery of Production Orders, Serial Number Management, and Shop Floor Control.
• Material Planning: Expert knowledge of MRP Live, Demand Management, and Capacity Planning.

SAP S/4HANA Quality Management (QM)

• A&D Quality Standards: Experience with AS9100 regulatory compliance tracking within SAP.
• Inspection Processing: Expert setup of inspection lots, results recording, and defect management.
• Supplier & Customer Quality: Procurement quality control, source inspections, and customer notifications.
• Traceability: Robust implementation of batch management and full component traceability.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 10+ years of SAP PP/QM implementation experience.
• S/4HANA Experience: At least 2 full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations completed.
• Industry Domain: Minimum 3+ years of dedicated Aerospace & Defense industry experience.
• A&D Specific Tools: Familiarity with Project System (PS) integration and Pegging/Distribution.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, IT, or equivalent.
• Clearance: Ability to meet ITAR compliance and defense security clearance requirements.
