Job description
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Job Specialty: Anesthesia
Job Duration: Full-Time
Shift: Varied schedule with a mix of 8, 10, 12, 16, and 24-hour shifts
Experience: Experience preferred, open to new graduates
License: Must have or be willing to obtain a Michigan License
Certifications:
- Board Certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (by time of start)
- ACLS
- BLS
- DEA (or willingness to obtain)
Must-Have:
- Professional, confident, and friendly demeanor
- Must not have previously applied directly to this position
Job Description:
- Participate in shared home-call obligations approximately one weekend per quarter and one weekday every six weeks.
- Cover a wide range of general and complex cases including kidney transplants, thoracic, orthopedic (including trauma), bariatrics, podiatry, gynecology, neurology, MRI/CT, heart and vascular, OB, and regional blocks.
- Work in a facility designated as a Level 2 trauma center with 16 operating rooms, 4 endoscopy suites, 2 OB operating rooms, and 5 NORA sites.
- Collaborate with a professional, confident, and friendly team of providers.
- Participate in a quarterly weekend call requirement with shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, including primary and secondary backup roles. Call schedule is assigned through a team process.
