Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions through telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, including diagnostic assessments and functional evaluations, to establish tailored treatment plans.
• Provide brief, focused therapeutic interventions for clients facing mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Work collaboratively with primary care providers to identify and manage psychosocial issues, ensuring clients receive integrated care.
• Develop relapse prevention plans for high-risk patients, supporting them in maintaining stable and healthy lives.
• Monitor treatment progress and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to adjust care plans as needed.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately to adhere to organizational and regulatory guidelines.
• Offer consultation to clinic management regarding behavioral health services, identifying areas for program enhancement and evaluation.
• Assist patients in understanding and effectively managing any medical treatments prescribed by primary care providers.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss patient outcomes, share insights, and improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will serve a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing various mental health disorders. You will engage with clients facing challenges that impact their emotional well-being, utilizing culturally sensitive approaches to treatment. Our focus is on empowering patients through education and self-management strategies as they navigate their treatment journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or related field is required.
• Current, active LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license in Pennsylvania.
• Thorough understanding of mental health assessment, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory, enhancing communication with a broader client base.
• Prior experience in a community health setting or telehealth services is advantageous.
• Familiarity with DSM-IV diagnoses and behavioral therapy modalities is beneficial for effective patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 87,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
