Role Description The Clinic Assistant role at TrichoScience Clinic LLC. is a part-time, on-site position based in Chicago, IL. The Clinic Assistant supports day-to-day clinic operations by greeting patients, managing check-in and check-out processes, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments. This role assists with basic patient care activities under appropriate supervision, such as preparing treatment rooms, organizing patient files, and helping patients feel comfortable before and after procedures. The Clinic Assistant maintains accurate records, ensures the reception area and exam rooms are clean and organized, and helps coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff. The position requires consistent professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong focus on delivering excellent service to all visitors and patients.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with patients and team members.
  • Experience with Receptionist Duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing front-desk operations.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology and basic Patient Care practices, preferably in a clinic or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, handle confidential information responsibly, and use clinic management or scheduling software.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare or administrative training is an asset.
  • Previous experience in a medical office, dermatology clinic, or similar healthcare environment is preferred.
