Triangle H is a family-owned cattle operation located south of Garden City, Kansas, with a strong commitment to quality livestock production and responsible stewardship. Our operation includes a commercial cow/calf herd and a feedyard. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team and help manage the day-to-day success of our cattle operation while building a rewarding career in the beef industry.

Responsibilities

As a member of our cattle team, you will assist with the daily management of our commercial cow/calf and stocker operations, including:

-               Monitoring herd health and implementing treatment protocols

-               Diagnosing and treating sick cattle

-               Daily cattle handling and care

-               Pasture and grazing management

-               Monitoring and maintaining livestock water systems, fencing, and facilities

-               Assisting with cattle processing, shipping, receiving, and feeding

-               Operating and maintaining ranch equipment and vehicles

-               General ranch maintenance and repair

-               Supporting all aspects of the cattle operation as needed

This job allows for some horseback time but you may not get to ride everyday.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

-               Has experience with cattle handling and livestock management (preferred)

-               Understands basic herd health and animal husbandry practices

-               Possesses mechanical aptitude and equipment maintenance skills (preferred)

-               Is dependable, self-motivated, and willing to work hard

-               Has a positive attitude and strong communication skills

-               Works well independently and as part of a team

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Salary: Starting at $50,000 annually, with higher compensation based on experience.
