Responsibilities
- Inspect residential and commercial properties for signs of pest activity and conditions conducive to infestations.
- Identify pest species and determine appropriate treatment methods.
- Apply pesticides and other pest control materials in accordance with state regulations, label requirements, and company procedures.
- Install and maintain bait stations, traps, and monitoring devices.
- Educate customers on pest prevention, exclusion, and sanitation practices.
- Maintain accurate service records and treatment documentation.
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain professional appearance and represent the company positively with customers.
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs.
- Assist with seasonal services including tick and mosquito control, stinging insect treatments, termite services, and rodent management.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily routes efficiently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to climb ladders, crawl in confined spaces, and work on your feet throughout the day.
- Previous pest control experience is preferred but not required.
- Pennsylvania pesticide certification is a plus, but training and certification assistance will be provided.
