Description
Essential Job Functions
- Assemble Bills of Lading and packing slips, complete with billing information, weights carrier pro's, etc.
- Analyze room requirements needed and call in the carrier to pick up product.
- Prepare product for shipment using standard shipping practices; including proper pallets, labels, tags, bar codes, etc...
- Load shipping containers.
- Process parts shipments via UPS and FedEx ground software. Assemble and pack items as required.
- Maintain department and products in an organized manner. Assist or fill in for Warehouseman as required.
- Operate and Maintain fork truck, overhead crane, banding and stretchwrap equipment as required
Requirements
Physical Requirements:
The ability to wear safety glasses, earplugs, gloves, safety-toe shoes, and a dust mask.
Constant use of hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
The ability to frequently exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects, materials
Considerable amount of use with arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
Standing for 8 or more hours everyday
Must be able to lift to 60 lbs.
Work Environment:
The job is within an industrial environment which requires work within various areas. The environmental conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy.
