Responsibilities

• Create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, funerals, and special events.
• Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs and preferences.
• Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
• Manage phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information on products and services.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the shop.
• Promote sales through effective communication of product features and benefits.
• Stay updated on floral trends and techniques to enhance creativity in designs.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Florist or in a similar role within the retail or floral industry.
• Strong technical sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Experience in cash handling and cashiering procedures.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Familiarity with phone etiquette and professional interaction with customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
